We are excited to announce we are going to be at East Lumberton Baptist Church, February 05, 2023, with the service beginning at 6:00PM.  This is monumental for Ron, Don and Lacy because this was the Church where they had their very first singing in 1971.  They stood around the piano, with Don playing the piano and singing the tenor part, and sang a set of songs.  That was 52 years ago.  We are looking forward to being there again as we are now.  Also, during that time Wayne Coates was singing with his family.

Here is a video announcing the singing!

We Introduce you to The Glorymen!

In 1970, Lacy Pittman, Don and Ron West started their first Southern Gospel Group.  After 1975, Lacy moved and Don and Ron continued to sing together and completed an album where they wrote many of the songs.

Don completed college with a Music Degree and obtained a Master Degree from Southeastern Seminary.  He taught music in school and was a Minister of Music in churches during his career.  After all these years, God has placed the desire to return to where he started, singing in a quartet.

Ron had a burning desire to sing Southern Gospel and traveled from Tennessee, to Ohio to Kentucky singing with groups for years.  He then returned to North Carolina and obtained an Associate's Degree from Southeastern Baptist Seminary.  He was ordained as a Minister and preached in Virginia for several years.  He then had that burning desire to sing again so he went to Kentucky.  In 2002, Ron moved back to North Carolina and became the lead singer for The Glorymen.  During this time he returned to Southeastern Baptist Seminary where he completed his Bachelor's Degree.

Wayne Coates, has been singing all of his life and joined The Glorymen in 1990.  After almost twenty five years, he left and in the past several years he sang with Safe Haven.

Lacy, along with Jerry Evans, started The Glorymen in 1989 and Lacy has been with the group since the beginning.

At this time in life, to see God bring together three from the beginning, and then add one who has been part of this group for most of it's existence is amazing.  The fact that God gave Don the desire to sing again, bringing us to where we started fifty-two years ago is only a God thing!  WOW!

To God Be The Glory!
